APC denies return tickets to 13 Katsina assembly members

No fewer than 13 serving members of the Katsina State House of Assembly have failed to secure return tickets under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The Triumph gathered that the affected lawmakers have served either two or three terms in the State Assembly.

Those who reportedly lost their party tickets are representatives of Kankia, Charanchi, Dutsin-Ma, Kurfi, Jibia, Matazu, Musawa, Malumfashi, Funtua, Ingawa, Bindawa, Batagarawa and Faskari constituencies.

Our correspondent reports that the lawmakers lost their bids for re-election following the rejection of their candidacies by stakeholders in their respective constituencies.
