Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Benue State Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has stressed that the party remains the bastion of hope for Benue people in 2023.

Rev. Fr. Alia who stated this at the weekend during the inaugural meeting of the Alia/Ode campaign council held at Royal Choice Hotel in Makurdi, said they have a mandate to reset the State from the deplorable way the present administration governed it.

He averrred that the present government showed visionless and resultless leadership and hence, the dire need to deliver it from the hands of the wicked.

“Be obligated to deliver the State from the hands of the wicked. We must reset it to what our founding fathers dreamt of and it is about the less privilege to give them hope and we cannot afford to fail them. 

“We did not hold retreat to take stock after 2015 and 2019 losses so as to a have a focus for 2023. Benue’s hope rest on our shoulder. We must all make sacrifice for 2023. Leadership means service. Do not be self centered. We should be each other’s keeper.You should make a difference in our campaign strategies.
