Following his declaration to seek for the office of presidency come 2015, the governor of Kano state, Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, has reaffirmed that whoever among APC presidential aspirants emerged as candidate, he would throw his weight behind that candidate.
Kwankwaso, who declared his intention on Tuesday, said this Wednesday, on the Hausa Service of the BBC, monitored in Jos.
He said, “Among the APC presidential aspirants, whoever eventually win the ticket, I will support that candidate. “
He however noted that since they (aspirants) have the agenda to serve Nigerians, so, he would make sure that everything went well rather than have disagreement amongst them. He said, “We all have the same agenda. We will ensure that is done appropriately. “
When the BBC asked Kwankwaso whether he had anything to show Nigerians that he should be elected as president, he responded that,” the projects I have achieved in Kano are clear evidence that I deserve to be the president of Nigeria”.
