The All Progressives Congress (APC), North Central youth leader, Zubair Rogun has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing Samuel Adeyemi as Controller of Federal Fire Service (FFS)
Speaking on Monday in Abuja, he said theAPC North Central Youth Wing is immense gratitude for the appointment.
“We gather here today to extend our heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for the historic appointment of a distinguished son of North Central Nigeria, our very own Kogi-born professional, Olumode Samuel Adeyemi, as the Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.
“This remarkable appointment is not just a recognition of one man’s achievements. It is a loud and clear message from Mr. President that this administration is committed to inclusive governance, to meritocracy, and to the recognition of competence and professionalism across all geopolitical zones of our great country.
“Mr. President, we thank you for finding Olumode worthy of such a sensitive national assignment. He is a seasoned, experienced, and visionary professional whose dedication to service has never gone unnoticed. His elevation to this position brings pride not only to Kogi State but also to the entire North Central region and indeed the youth constituency of Nigeria.
“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, while we celebrate this well-deserved appointment, we also take this opportunity to humbly appeal to the Federal
Government for continuous support. We call for enhanced capacity building and the provision of modern resources that will enable the Controller General and his team at the Federal Fire Service to effectively deliver on their mandate of fire prevention, emergency response, and the protection of lives and property across our nation.
“As Northern youths, we reaffirm our unwavering support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. We pledge to continue mobilizing the youth of the North Central Zone and beyond in support of good governance, national development, and the entrenchment of democratic values.
