APC Reps candidate donates 6 trucks of grains, N10m to supporters in Sokoto

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Yabo-Shagari Federal Constituency, Prof. Musa Garba Maitafsir, has donated six trucks of assorted grains for distribution to party supporters across the 10 wards in Yabo Local Government Area of Sokoto State.
He also donated N1 million for each of the 10 wards.
The Media Aide to the candidate, Malami Umar Torankawa, disclosed this in a statement he issued to newsmen on Saturday in Sokoto.
Torankawa said the gesture was aimed at providing relief to APC faithful across the local government area.
He explained that the grains include rice, maize and millet.
According to him, a special committee has been set up in each ward to ensure equitable distribution of the items, with elders, women and youths to be considered.
He called on those saddled with the responsibility of distributing the food items and cash to ensure justice and fairness in discharging their assignment.
Torankawa urged the people of Yabo Local Government Area to continue to rally support for the APC and all its candidates in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
