APC stakeholders endorse Abaji, Gwagwalada Chairmen for 2027 NASS election

The leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) across the ten political wards in Gwagwalada Area Council in the FCT, have endorsed
the Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abubakar Abdullahi Umar as well as the chairman Gwagwalada, Abubakar Jibrin Giri, for the 2027 National Assembly election in the territory.
While Abajii Chairman will contest for the position of the lone Senatorial seat for Abuja, while Hon. Giri will go for the position of the House of Representatives member in Abuja South constituency.
Speaking after the endorsement of APC stakeholders in Gwagwalada the APC FCT Senatorial aspirant for 2027. Hon. Umar, said he declared his intension to contest for the position in 2027, in order to rescue the people of the FCT in terms of the socio-economic development.
He said if given the mandate he would provide purposeful leadership capable of satisfying the aspirations of the masses in the territory.
He called on the entire residents of Gwagwalada and the FCT at large to vote for him in 2027 election, if he becomes the senatorial candidate of APC.
Also speaking, the aspirant of the House of Representatives member in Abuja south constituency, Hon Giri, charged the APC stakeholders to support him as well as the senatorial aspirant.
On his part, the Chairman of APC in Gwagwalada, Mr. Jerry Musa, said the executives of the party in Gwagwalada and its environs are ready o support the two aspirants.
Not left out, the former House of Representatives member, who represented Abuja South, Hon. Zakari Angulu Dobi, the former House of Representatives member represented Abuja South, Hon. Sidi Ali and the immediate past Chairman of APC in the FCT, Alhaji Abdulmaliki Usman, drummed their support for the two aspirants.
