Supporters of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bauchi local government area has pleaded with the state executives of the party to implement the appeal committee report sent by the National Secretariat of the party over the conduct of the last Local Government congress in the State.
The Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Rabi’u Shehu Danbaba, made the call yesterday when he led hundreds of their supporters to the State Secretariat of the party to express their grievances ahead of the beginning of party primary for the 2015 general election.
Danbaba said the implementation of the report is necessary in order to prevent anything that will cause disaffection, injustice, saying it will help in doing justice to all.
He said they were surprised over the inability of the state executives to act on the report about two months after the receipt of it from the national secretariat and reminded them that they cannot start primary elections with rivals or parallel executives in the council.
The chairman presented a copy of the report to the State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Uba Ahmed Nana.
Receiving the delegation on behalf of the State Chairman, the Deputy State Chairman of the party, Bauchi South Senatorial District, Musa Adamu Lar, said the party will study the report with a view to doing justice to it.
