APGA Northern Chairmen re-affirms confidence in Victor Umeh

The Northern States Chairmen’s Forum of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has re-affirmed its confidence in the leadership of the party’s National Chairman, Sir Victor Umeh and Secretary, Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi.

This was contained in a communique issued yesterday in Minna after its inaugural meeting at the IBB Pen House which was attended by eighteen (18) chairmen led by the forum’s chairman, Sardauna Yaro who is also the APGA Chairman of Jigawa State.

The communique congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Dr Willy Obiano for his appointment as the National leader and Chairman Board of Trustee of APGA even as the forum agreed with the last National Executive Council NEC held on 3rd November, 2014 in Abuja as resolved.

The forum further called on the party leadership to adopt democratic system of electing its National Executives as stipulated in the party constitution and in the National Electoral Act 2010 as amended in the forth coming convention scheduled for December 17, 2014.
