The Senior Pastor of House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf, has has encouraged Nigerians to maintain a positive outlook on the country.
He asserted this in his message, in Kaduna, yesterday, noting that optimism about the country and speaking the positive word of God to the people, leadership, and Nation will eventually lead to success.
Speaking on the theme “Sitting at the top: The power of words God”, Apostle Yakubu stressed that people and Nations would continue to witness different situations in life, just like what is happening in the country but speaking the positive words of God, praise-worship and thanksgiving would change the situation for the better.
Drawing inspiration from the book of Matthew 4:4 and Job 23:12, he said that the proper knowledge of God’s word will encourage praying in alignment with God’s will because his word is life.
The clergy expressed dismay at how many Nigerians, especially Christians who are supposed to be vast in the knowledge of God’s word, believe and act arbitrarily.
He described God’s word as the raw material needed for prayer and success, urging all to depend on it.
He added that Nigerians must learn to pray for those in Authority as God’s word commands them to do and not to curse them.
