From Umar Dankano, Yola

The Adamawa state Deputy Governor, professor Kaletapwa Farauta has described the Monday’s Court of Appeal judgement victory of her boss, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri against Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani of APC as “a victory to the people of the state”.
Professor Farauta made the statement in Yola yesterday while fielding questions from journalists, stressing that the judgement had further proven to the world that the Adamawa electorates truely gave Governor Fintiri their mandate in the last 2023 election.
Farauta appealed to the opposition to come forward to join hands with Governor Fintiri in the Adamawa project for the overall interest of the electorate.
She also urge the citizenry in the state to pray fervently for the success of the Fintiri led administration noting it is only when there is peace and harmony that development strives.
It would be recalled that the governorship election tribunal dismissed the case at it’s ruling on the 28th October where the Appeallant (Aishatu Binani of APC) to appealed the judgement which it was dismissed by the court of Appeal sitting in Abuja yesterday.
