Health care Administrators Association of Nigeria, Benue State chapter has stressed that persons to be appointed as Minister must be of high profile and pedigree.
The group stated this yesterday in Makurdi during a press conference, maintaining that they must fit into the template of individuals usually appointed as recommended by Mr. President to get the job done.
Chairman of the Association Mr. Aondofa Albert Ankyo disclosed that they are projecting and recommending Mr. Emmanuel Akpakwu, a technocrat to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a minister in his cabinet.
He said the association found in him, an intensely focused go-getter, adding that he is a relatively young man who has already achieved so much as an entrepreneur, philanthropist, honorary diplomat, sport enthusiast, community developer and mentor of students, youths and women.
Said he, “we firmly believe that Mr. Akpakwu’s exceptional qualifications,vast experience in entrepreneurship and his expansive network of relationship with communities of youths, sports, students and women will prove to be of immeasurable value to the Tinubu administration.
“Even as a core private sector player, Mr. Akpakwu also, has vast and diversified experience in public service delivery as Coordinator, Nigerian delegation to Manila, Philippines, on the training and Skill Development of 41 ex-Niger Delta militants (combatants), Member of Nigerian delegation to the 2014 Winter Olympics Games in Sochi, Russia, Honorary Consul to the Republic of the Philippines, Lagos-Nigeria appointed by the Foreign Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
