Nigerian Army has disclosed to sustain investing of its resources in the areas of research and development to enhanced its quest of industrial and technological development of the country
Commander Training and Doctrine Command TRADOC of the Nigerian Army, Major General Kevin Aligbe stated this while declaring open a three day Nigerian Army Research and Development Conference twenty twenty four held in Minna, Niger state capital.
The theme of the conference is “Leveraging Research and Development In Emerging Technologies as a Panacea for Success in Modern Warfare Within a Joint Environment.
Represented by the Director Joint and Combined Doctrine Nigerian Army Major General Jafaru Mohammed, the TRADOC Commander Major General Kevin Aligbe said Nigeria is fortunate with both material and brains which needed to be harness and galvanized to achieve its developmental goals.
He revealed that participants were drawn from the Nigeria Air Force, other security agencies and para military within Niger state for meaningful cross fertilization of ideas and minds towards achieving the set target of technical development in the security sector.
Major General Kevin Aligbe appreciated the Chief Of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja for being supportive towards achieving the successes recorded by the TRADOC Nigerian Army Minna.
