Arrest Zamfara PDP women leader over threat to lives of electorates – APC writes Police, DSS

Zamfara State chapter of the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), has urged the security agencies in the state to arrest and prosecute the state Women Leader of the ruling PDP over alleged threats to voters who refusal of vote for the incumbent Governor, Dauda Lawal in 2027 elections,

A statement by the state Publicity Secretary of the APC, Yusuf Idris Gusau, condemned the threat by one of the PDP leaders which is contrary to the Constitutional provisions on the rights to contest and the right to vote for any candidate.

The Women Leader while speaking Hausa language at a gathering held in Gusau last Friday, said, “Anyone who does not vote for Dauda, we will maim, beat, kill him, ‘ (zamu ci ubanshi zamu yi mashi duka).

“We also want to remind security operatives in the state of the case of gun shooting by PDP thugs with some of them arrested sometime ago.”
