Some members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) in the Federal Polytechnic Bida have accused their Chapter Chairman, Abubakar Ndaasebe of corruption and incompetence.
This was contained in a letter made available to newsmen jointly signed by a Director in the institution and former Chairman of the Union, Dr. Victor Okolobah and a Deputy Director, Mallam Alhassan Kawu who accused him of lack of good initiative that drive a well -organized union.
It listed the offences of the chapter Chairman to include lack of adherence to the provisions of the Union, spending of funds without appropriation by the Congress, and disobedience to the constituted authorities.
“All they are doing in this union contravene the aims and objectives of the union and the earlier he is stopped from doing these things, the better.”
