An aspirant contesting for Gombe South Senatorial Seat in the National Assembly on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform, Alexander Audu, yesterday submitted his nomination form at the state PDP secretariat in Gombe.
Speaking to journalists shortly after submitting his form, Audu vowed to transform the area he seeks to represent if given the mandate to serve in 2015.
He said his intention to contest for the seat in the area was aimed at putting his best to ensure that every citizen benefitted in the dividend of democracy that the country had been enjoying in the recent years.
According to him, his ambition to contest in the forth coming general election was to alleviate his people from suffering, adding that it is on record that the people in the area are yet to be transformed.
“If I am elected into office, I would do everything possible to ensure that I transform the life of the people in the area”, he said.
Speaking further, he explained that his ambition to run for senatorial seat was based on the calls by his people who called on him to contest for the seat, adding that there is strong indication that he will emerge victorious in the forth coming general election.
