The new venture is a property development and rental company strategically focused on transforming South Africa’s township housing market. The company’s core business centers on developing modern, stylish, and affordable accommodation, including back room rentals, bachelor apartments, and student housing.
Shilenge Mansions specializes in identifying and developing township land, with existing projects in Winterveld, Soshanguve, Mabopane, and Rosslyn. The company’s mission is to convert these plots into “city-inspired accommodation hubs” to serve students, young professionals, and couples.
The business model extends beyond development. A key pillar of the company is mentorship, with a focus on teaching aspiring investors how to build wealth by investing in, developing, and managing township real estate.
The company’s vision is to become one of South Africa’s leading township real estate brands, setting a target to own and manage at least 100 student accommodation properties by 2030.
Shilenge, who recently participated in the prestigious Crypto Content Creator Campus in Dubai, is leveraging her reputation as a financial educator to bridge the gap between digital wealth and tangible assets, positioning township real estate as a key to “generational wealth.”
