Awe Oluwaseyi appointed COPEHRA's head of programmes

The Contributory Pension and Happy Retirement Advocacy (COPEHRA) has appointed Awe Oluwaseyi as its new head of Programmes.

Awe Oluwaseyi is a seasoned Strategy and Reforms Consultant with over 15 years of on-the-job, multi-sectoral experience, participating in transformative initiatives in the Electricity Power Sector with Nigeria Electricity Liability Mgt Ltd / Gtee, Pension Administration with Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, Humanitarian Programs, and Public Sector Development.

A statement by the Organisation stated that his impact spans his strategic participation, institutional frameworks, and operational solutions on national pension harmonization, post-privatization liabilities in the power sector, and MDA efficiency has been significant.

“In addition to his public sector work, Seyi has participated in the succesful delivery of short-term humanitarian programs with Save the Children International, DFID, Action Against Hunger, and Christian Aid, providing critical program assessments, financial modeling, cost optimization, and sectoral evaluations that enhanced the efficiency and sustainability of humanitarian interventions.

“Seyi currently serves as Principal Partner for HillTree Consultancy and Enterprises Ltd, as well as a Member of the Strategy Team for The Billions, The Books where he designs pitch selection frameworks, facilitates strategy sessions, and supports emerging organizations in scaling through structured investment platforms.

“In addition to these roles, he also consults for other private organizations and consulting firms, where he is retained, offering continuous strategic advisory services, institutional strengthening, and solution-driven engagements across various sectors,” the statement said.
