*As party ends retreat for elected officials in Bauchi

Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has emerged as the new Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ‘Governors’ Forum.
Bala Mohammed was named as the Chairman of the PDP-GF after a retreat organized by the party for all its elected officials in Bauchi State on Saturday.
His emergence was made known by the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Unaru Fintiri.
The Bauchi Governor replaces the immediate past Governor of Sokoto State, Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who has been elected as a Senator from Sokoto State.
Governor Bala Mohammed is serving his second term in office.
