The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command has keyed into partnership with the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) Zamfara State Chapter in the fight against insecurity, crimes and terrorism in the state. 

The State Commandant of the NSCDC A. A. Sparks, stated this during familiarization visit by the delegates of the RTEAN, commending them for complimenting the dreams and vision of the state government in making sure that the state is purged of all forms of crimes and insecurity.

This was contained in a statement by the Command’s Spokesperson, DSC Ikor Oche, saying that the Commandant charged the officials of the RTEAN to always involve security personnel in all facet of their operations and also to avail the Corps with intelligence reports with a view to prevent movements of illicit items across the state.

Mr. A. A. Sparks therefore, assured the association of the Command’s professional assistance in order to achieve desired goals in the fight against insecurity which has been the vision and dream of the State Government.

In his remarks, the delegates of RTEAN led by Aminu Shehu Danfulani, thanked the Commandant for the promised support, extolling the activities of the NSCDC, it’s contributions as well in the fight against insecurity and criminalities in the state.

Danfulani said that RTEAN is a novel organization which is set to commence operation in a short while across the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.

He however said that RTEAN is seeking for  a total synergy with the Corps during its operations in order to prevent mischief makers from moving across the state with illicit items.
