Suspected bandits have attacked and killed one Immigration officer while two others sustained serious bullet wound in Galadi, Birniwa area of Jigawa state.
The state Comptroller of NIS I.A. Aliyu confirmed the incident while briefing news men in Dutse, the state capital.
He explained that, “on Tuesday 9th August, 2022 at about 2320hrs the bandits arrived patrol base on two motorcycles, each carrying three persons. Immediately on arrival, they open fire on the immigration staff on patrol at the base.
