Bauchi international Airport will generate 3,400 jobs, says Yuguda

Govenr Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state has declared that The newly constructed Bauchi state International Airport will provide job opportunities to at least 3, 400 citizens of state when on full operations by March this year.

Yuguda stated through his aide Alhaji Danladi Inuwa OC Kwano who is also the chairman of the social group ‘Bauchi volunteers forum made this assertion yesterday while in a chat with newsmen where he opined that the best dividend of democracy any government can deliver to the electorates is to carry out projects and programs that can revitalize the economy and empower the masses.

According to him, “The airport which the state had been yearning for, about 50 years ago, will not only solve the aviation problem faced by the state but will go a long way in providing job opportunities to the teeming restive citizens. According our survey it can employ at least 3, 400 people’’.

He described the long agitated airport as one of the best in the country considering the availability of the latest navigational equipment that can be found anywhere in the world Yuguda disclosed that the present administration will be remembered by the posterity for the project.

Yuguda stated that the Bauchi state government means business on the project by abiding to standard pointing out that it could also attract foreign investors to the state.

He then charged the youths whom he described as people that can make or mar the society to always vote for the candidates who would come up with programs that could impact positively on their lives.
