The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of Bauchi State has approved the appointments of seven High Courts Staff as Magisterates and Upgraded seven lower Sharia Court Judges to Upper Sharia Court Judges.
A statement distrubuted to reporters in Bauchi signed by Dr Ibrahim Danjuma Secretary of JSC Bauchi, said five staff were punished by the commission.
Dr Danjuma gave the name of those appponted as magisterates as; Sadiq Mohammed Abubakar Esq.Chief Magistrate 11, Aminu Umar Esq, Chief Magistrate II, Sani Maigari Isah Esq, Senior Magistrate, Bintu Umar Mustapha, and many others.
