Bauchi PDP educates supporters on ongoing voters’ registration exercise

The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Bauchi State Chapter has urged their supporters to come forward and register to enable them votes the candidates of their choice during the forthcoming general election in 2019.
State Chairman of the Party Alhaji Hamza Akoshe Akuyam stated this yesterday in Bauchi while interacting with reporters, He said “ we are not campaigning because the electoral body didn’t lift ban on Political campaign, the reason why we embarked on visits to local government areas recently we were in Ningi , Warji and Kafin Madaki was to sensitize our supporters especially people that were born at the time PDP started ruling the country in 1999 today they are eligible to vote we want to advise them to come and register”
Akuyam said even people who have problems with their voters card and those who migrated from one place to another we sensitized them that they should please come out to register, collect their cards and have the right to vote during elections, even if you have a candidate of your choice at heart the only thing that you would do to show your love is to vote for him you and can’t vote without voters card”.
He reiterated the commitment of the Party to reopen all its offices in the 20 local government areas as part of preparation to take over power from APC in 2019.
Deputy National Chairman of PDP Senator Babayo Gamawa said the abduction of 110 girls at a school in Dapchi, Yobe State, confirmed the ruling APC’s “nonchalant attitude in the fight against insurgency in the North East and alleged that APC administration had failed to fulfill any of the campaign promises made to Nigerians before the 2015 election, they always gave fake promises to deceive Nigerians.
Gamawa said the has nothing its own even the real fight against corrupt practices was done by the PDP, because the PDP created all the agencies that are fighting corruption like EFCC , ICPC and Court of Conduct .
The two leaders reiterated commitment of the PDP to take over government in 2019 due to the failure of APC government, the only change that ASPC brought was introducing untold hardship to Nigerians you can ask whoever you want to ask people will tell you that they feel comfortable during PDP led administration than today where they are faced with untold hardships hunger and poverty”.
