The Bauchi State Police Command has assured the public that it is not taking the threat lightly following an intelligence report of a planned attack on viewing centers.
A statement issued by Police Public Relations officer, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar which was distributed to reporters in Bauchi said all hands are on deck to ensure safety of lives and property in the state, He said, “to this effect, an intensive patrol and intelligence gathering is ongoing to forestall any possible attack.”
Abubakar said the Command called on the public to be security conscious of their environment and cooperate with police and other security agencies in this operation and equally report any suspicious person or object to the police.
