Bauchi Radio boss wants station modernized to meet NBC requirement

The management of Bauchi Radio Corporation has requested Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to ensure timely modernization of the radio station through the provision of modern facilities to enable the station meet the requirement of the National Broadcasting commission NBC.
The Managing Director of the corporation, Alhaji Sirajo Ma’aji made the request during a Sallah special programme organized by the corporation tagged “ Bikin Shagulgulan Sallah.
Ma’aji said that the request became necessary in order to enable the radio station comply with the National Broadcasting Commission’s directive on digitization of broadcast organizations.
The BRC Managing Director acknowledged the efforts of the administration of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed towards improving the operation of the corporation for effective service delivery.
He recalled that, Bauchi Radio Corporation commenced operation in 1977, and reaffirmed the readiness of the current management at enhancing the capacity of workers for better performance.
Ma’aji reassured the listeners of the radio station on the determination of the management to initiate new educative and enlightenment progammes that are geared towards the development of the society.
He said the event was organized to strengthen the relationship between the radio station and its listeners, and assured that his doors will remain open for constructive criticism.
Also speaking, the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Abubakar Sulaiman, while commending the organizers of the programme, applauded BRC for effective propagation of government policies and programmes.
