Be good ambassadors of Benue, BRM charges new Perm. Secs

The Benue Rebirth Movement (BRM) has charged the new Federal Permanent Secretaries appointed from Benue state to be good ambassadors of their people.
BRM, a political pressure group which has been advocating for the emancipation and development of the Benue South Senatorial District, gave the charge in Abuja during a recent congratulatory visit to two of the Permanent Secretaries.
Director of Media, BRM, Joseph Ode disclosed the Permanent Secretares are Mr. Raymond Omachi of the Common Services Office in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation and Mr. Nicholas Ella of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
Speaking during separate visits to their respective offices, AVM Monday Morgan (rtd), National Coordinator of BRM and leader of delegation, eulogized the two sons of Benue state for distinguishing themselves in character, profession and civil service, among other qualities which earned them their deserved promotion to the zenith of their civil service career.
AVM Morgan said their promotion has brought immense pride and honour to Benue State, particularly Benue South. He said their remarkable achievements serve as an inspiration to aspiring individuals within the region and beyond, stressing that BRM has no doubt that they would discharge their duties with utmost diligence and dedication, as they have always done throughout their career.
Also responding separately, the Permanent Secretaries appreciated BRM for the visit and pledged their commitment to serve and support Benue State.
Omachi advised BRM and the people of Benue South in general to build bridges across and not walls against the rest of Benue people in order to achieve their objectives.
On his part, Ambassador Ella urged the people of Benue state to brace up for the emerging switch to use of gas occasioned by the rising cost petrol. He observed that the state was relatively backward in the use of gas and promised to do his best at the ministry to assist the people to catch up with others so as to benefit from the emerging shift to gas usage.
Members of the delegation included the National Coordinator, AVM Monday Morgan (Rtd); Barr. Patricia Kupchi, Comr. Kelvin Odatse Peters PhD, Compt. Matthias Abutu (Rtd), Rt. Hon. Egbiri Idaa, Hon. Joseph Ode, Chief Noah McDickson, Hon. Gabriel Olofu, Prof. David Salifu, Prof. Otor Okwu, and Hon. Francis Eche Ijiga.
