Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has stressed the need for his supporters to come out and be part in the process of salvaging the great country and making it a beautiful land of opportunities and prosperity.

Atiku, a former Vice President of the country between 1999 and 2007, said this in his September message to his fans and supporters.

The PDP flag bearer noted that every election is won and lost at the Polling Unit, stressing that his team has, thus, agreed to decentralize its campaign.

According to him, what that means is that  “folks like you are the potential managers of my campaign”.

This, he explained is a system that takes power away from the centre and returns it to where it belongs: to the people.

In the words of Atiku, “The time has finally come for us to take part in the process of salvaging this great country and making it a beautiful land of opportunities and prosperity – once again.

“I have great news for you, dear Friend. My team and I have made it possible for you to join us. Now, you can become part of my team, too!

“Because we know that every election is won and lost at the Polling Unit, we have agreed to decentralise our campaign. “What that means is that folks like you are the potential managers of my campaign. It is a system that takes power away from the centre and returns it to where it belongs: to the people.

Speaking about the significance of this month of  September, 2022, the PDP presidential candidate said, “I am sure that you must have anticipated the arrival of this special month with some sort of apprehension.
