Bello, Aliyu, Candido mourn late Abba Kyari

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has described late Malam Abba Kyari, Chief of Staff to President, Muhammadu Buhari as a quintessential administrator whose great wealth of experience was positively brought to bear in the management of the affairs of the country including the FCT.
Bello, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye, offered the heartfelt condolences of the FCT Administration and the residents of the FCT to President Muhammadu Buhari and the entire Kyari family.
He further prayed that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus and gives his family the strength to bear the loss.
Similarly, FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, described the death of Abba Kyari, which occurred on April 17, 2020, as a big blow to the presidency and Nigeria.
Aliyu, in a condolence message, signed by her Special Assistant on Media, Austine Elemue, noted that the vacuum created by the death of the former Chief of Staff would be hard to fill in view of his tenacity and maturity in the discharge of official duties.
While noting that death is an inevitable end to every mortal existence, the minister said members of the FCT family were, however, consoled that late Abba Kyari distinguished himself as an astute statesman and exemplary leader while serving his country in the capacity of Chief of Staff between 2015 to 2020.
Also mourning the passing of Malam Abba Kyari, Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Abdullahi Adamu Candido, noted that the late Buhari’s Chief of Staff was an embodiment of humility, intelligent and resourceful, who provided support to the present Administration.
Candido, who spoke via a telephone interview said Mallam Kyari died at a time that the country needed his versatile wealth of experience in combating the covid 19 pandemic ravaging the country and the world at large.
