A prominent Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC in Benue state, Mr. Olofu Charles has stressed the need for all party stakeholders to shun personal interest and build a formidable force that would pave the way for the party to gain more members from the opposition parties.
Olofu who said this in a statement at the weekend which was made available to People Daily, cautioned that the unnecessary political rancour could lead to in -fighting amongst members of the party, a situation that ought to be nipped in the bud.
He therefore, urged the elders of the party and stakeholders to as a matter of urgency reconcile all aggrieved members of the party.
The APC Chieftain particularly, urged the Secretary to Government of Federation, SGF Senator George Akume to emulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on how he reconciled the aggrieved Lagos lawmakers.
