Benue APC guber candidate lambasts Ortom

Benue State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Barrister Emmanuel Jime, has lambasted Governor Samuel Ortom, alleging that the governor has no score cards to show for the almost four (4) years in office.
He stated that the Ortom is running his government based on propaganda and fulani herdsmen killings rather than showing Benue people what he had been able to achieve in the last three and half years.
Jime who made this assertion during a reception organized for him yesterday by APC Stewart led by Engr. Nats Apir, maintained that the current administration of Governor Ortom has failed Benue people and should not be allowed to continue in office beyond 2019.
According to him, APC is focusing on seeing a new Benue and had already set agenda for Benue people, stressing that he has volunteered to make himself available to use to achieve the new and modern Benue of our collective dream.
“I will do what I say l will do. This is because I am not a quantity man and am not striving to be a professional Politician but a professional in politics.
“I have records of achievements as a speaker of the Benue state house of Assembly and eight (8) years as member of house of Representatives”.
“The reason why APC will win the governorship election in the state is because I have the ability and intellectual capacity to develop the state.
“The slogan of the state has changed to Ortom, I will not go into government to boost my private business. We will put our state into consideration first.
“Ortom businesses are growing fat while development of Benue State is going down the more. Go to government house, you dare not see or drink any other table water than Goshen water”, Jime fumed.
On his part, the Nigerian Ambassador to Russia, Prof. Steve Ugba, recounted that in 2014, all the aggrieved APC Governorship Aspirants met in Abuja and resolved to pick Jime as a consensus candidate.
“Today we are here celebrating Jime as APC candidate, destiny working on his side. I therefore, urge Benue people to work hard and stop complaining to ensure the emergence of Jime on March 2nd 2019.
“I have come all the way from Russia to Nigeria to participate in all the elections to ensure that Buhari is re elected and jime is also elected”, Ugba said.
