The member representing Okpokwu State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Agom Anthony, has formally announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
In a letter personally signed by the lawmaker, Agom stated that his decision followed wide consultations with stakeholders and constituents, adding that the move was driven by his desire to ensure better representation and contribute meaningfully to the development of his constituency.
He expressed strong confidence in the leadership and developmental vision of the Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, noting that his alignment with the APC would further promote unity, peace, and progress across the state.
