Benue State governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has expressed the determination and commitment of his administration to finding a durable solution to the plight of Internally Displaced Persons in the State.
In this regard, the State has finalized its action plan towards achieving this objective just as the Governor assured of its implementation.
Governor Alia said during a 2-day workshop on finalization of the State Action Plan for Durable Solution organized by the Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in partnership with the United Nation.
Represented by the Majority Leader, Benue State House of Assembly Hon. Tiseer Saater, said, “as we move towards completing it, I am confident that the collaborative efforts we see today will ensure the plan’s effectiveness and longevity.
