Benue guber: PDP loses as Supreme Court affirms Alia’s victory

The election of Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
The Governor, who won under the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated the governorship candidate of the PDP, Titus Uba.
The governorship election petition tribunal and the Court of Appeal in Abuja had affirmed the election of Alia as governor of Benue State.
Uba, who was not pleased with the judgments, approached the Supreme Court for redress.
