A member of the Benue State House of Assembly representing Ukum State Constituency Hon. Ezra Nyiyongo has backed Governor Hyacinth Alia on granting amnesty to bandits in Sankera axis.
Hon. Ezra said in a phone conversation with Peoples’ Daily on Tuesday, that granting leniency to the bandits is the best approach to managing the situation in the axis.
He also, suggested that government should study what the immediate past administration did in this area with a view with modifying it.
“There is need to evolve modalities and hasten up on the security situation in the area”, the legislator said.
