Benue North East: Court of Appeal sets aside tribunal judgement, upholds Udende’s election

The Court of Appeal in Abuja yesterday upheld the election of Emmanuel Udende of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The court set aside the decision of the election petition tribunal, which last month sacked Udende.

The three-man justices, however, in its unanimous judgement, said the lower court erred in its verdict and therefore affirmed the election of Udende.
