The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Benue State Senatorial District has warned its members that anyone seen attending coalition meeting shall be sanctioned without delay, stating that it would not accommodate saboteurs.
This warning was handed to members after a meeting of the party’s zonal caucus held in Makurdi at the weekend.
The warning also comes on the heels of the emergence of a new coalition known as All Democratic Alliance, ADA(a break out from the PDP) said to be spearheaded by former President of the Senate Sen David Mark in the zone.
The Zonal PDP caucus resolved to stand by their leaders especially Senator Dr. Comrade Abba Moro , Senate Minority Leader and Senator Representing Benue South Senatorial District and return him to the Senate come 2027 as well as the House of Representatives Member Representing Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency, Chief Pst. Ojotu Ojema , back to the House of Representatives come 2027.

Zone C, maintained that Zone C is PDP and PDP is zone C, averring that members of the party have resolved to remain in PDP and strategize to win their elections come 2027.
“That the party shall remain faithful and committed to the activities geared towards winning elections.”
