Betara felicitates Tinubu, Shettima, as they take over baton of leadership from Buhari

The frontline Aspirant for the position of the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives, Hon. Muktar Betara Aliyu has congratulated the incoming President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as they take over the baton of leadership of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Hon. Betara in his goodwill message through his media campaign also felicitated with the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The handing over ceremony from a democratic administration is scheduled for 29th May, 2023 at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
Hon. Betara expressed delight over the antecedence of Senator Tinubu as Governor of Lagos State and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as well as the Vice president Kassim Shettima , a former senator in Nigeria’s parliament.
He said: “on behalf of the good people of Biu/Bayo/Shani and Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency of Borno State, congratulate His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his inauguration as the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria as well as Vice president Kassim Shettima.
“Your emergence as the Flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Party Primaries and subsequent victory during the 2023 Presidential election on the 25th February 2023 are convincing testament to the fact that you are a man of destiny.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that we know, is a true Democrat and Philanthropist who criss-cross the entire country and the world at large.
“As a detribalised Politicians, I have no doubt that President Tinubu’s reign will bring about the desired changes in all ramifications of our socio-economic and political life as a country and put smiles on the faces of all Nigerians irrespective of religion, tribe, ethnic, race or colour.
“We can’t forget the positive and remarkable trajectory in Lagos State and how much he continued to the return of democracy in Nigeria especially during the military junta.
“The People’s quest to get a man who knows his onion in governance, fuelled their passion to pitch tent with you, the result is the overwhelming victory at the ballot and your towering credentials in human, economic and social development as exemplified in your leadership as the Governor of Lagos State and the Leader of our great party, the All Progressives Congress.
“We salute his courage and resolve to contribute his quota to the development of our Fatherland which we cherish so much.
“Since our paths crossed several decades ago, I’ve seen in him a man of noble character, trustworthy, passionate and great influence on the Society.
“What endeared him to someone like me is the depth of his resourcefulness and passion for this great Country.
“I have no fear that working together with the Jagaban as popularly called as well Vice President Kassim Shettima in the parliament, Nigeria will bring about the desired transformation future generations will be proud to call our own.
“I wish my President, our own Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu who I can best describe as ‘Father of modern Democracy’ the best as he takes over the leadership of this country and do wish him more wisdom and peace althrough the next four years in office and beyond,” Hon. Betara said.
Hon. Betara also congratulated the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima on this giant stride and pray Almighty Allah to grant him the wisdom to join hands in moving the country forward.
“His Excellency, Vice President, Distinguished Senator Kashim Shettima is my Brother and we have been working together for several years and I have no iota of doubt in his competence to work harmoniously with Mr. President in steering the affairs of our great country.
“I am sure this country will experience a new dawn under their leadership and we at the 10th National Assembly will spare no effort to ensure a smooth working relationship with Mr. President and Vice President from day one.
“We cannot ask for more as National Assembly. This is the first time in history that we are having two seasoned Parliamentarians taking over the steering of leadership in the Executive Arm of Government,” he said.
