Bibire engages Igosun monarchs, seals grassroots alliance

Hon. Chief Abdulazeez Oyeniyi Salaudeen, popularly known as Bibire, has intensified his grassroots engagement with a visit to the traditional institution in Igosun, where he met with the Oba-in-Council and Baales to discuss the development of Oke-Ogun Constituency.

The meeting, held as part of his continued consultations with stakeholders, focused on promoting peace, unity and sustainable development across Igosun and the wider constituency.

During the visit, Bibire sought the royal blessings, prayers and support of the traditional rulers, saying their guidance remained critical to achieving meaningful progress at the grassroots.

He reaffirmed his commitment to selfless service and pledged to continue pursuing initiatives that would improve the welfare of the people.

“Our traditional institution remains a pillar of unity and development. I have come to seek your prayers, blessings and support as we work together to build a better future for our people,” Bibire said.

The traditional rulers commended the lawmaker’s humility, respect for the traditional institution and consistent engagement with the people.

They also expressed confidence in his vision for the constituency, assuring him of their prayers and continued support.

One of the royal fathers said, “We appreciate his respect for the traditional institution and his commitment to the welfare of the people. We pray that God grants him wisdom and strength to continue serving the constituency.”

The monarchs urged political leaders to sustain regular consultations with traditional institutions, noting that such engagements would strengthen peace, foster unity and accelerate community development.

The meeting ended with prayers for the peace, stability and continued progress of Igosun and the entire Oke-Ogun Constituency, as both parties reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the collective good of the people.
