Former FCT Football Association Chairman Emmanuel Attah has congratulated Team Nigeria for their superlative performance in the just concluded 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham.
Attah who was a former Coordinator of the Super Eagles said the performance of the team in the games has gone a long way to prove the explanary leadership qualities of the Minister of Youths and Sports Development Sunday Dare.
Quoting his words, the former FCT FA boss who is the Director in charge of General services at the National Youth Service Corps said
“it is very evident that the Minister provided the athletes the enabling environment for them to excel , and they really excelled.
It has shown that the Minister is a very focused person, which he has displayed in the way he piloted the affairs of his Ministry before and during the games”.
He appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari for the support he gave to the athletes to enable them compete effectively with their counterparts from other countries.
He implored the athletes not to rest in their efforts in positively projecting the country in their various fields of sports.
