President Muhammadu Buhari has said that, the ongoing war against Boko Haram insurgents is a ‘must win war’ even as he assured families of slain soldiers in Melete as well as those injured of adequate welfare.
Buhari spoke today at the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference held in Maiduguri.
The President had yesterday stopped his casual leave to visit Maiduguri today.
He said no effort would be spared to complete the task of ending the insurgency fight.
President Buhari expressed the determination of his administration to end the crisis in the North East.
“We remain committed to ending the crisis in the North East ,” Buhari assured.
He also assured the families of killed soldiers and those injured of the Federal Government’s continued support, describing the late soldiers as heroic.
