The Chairman Board of Directors of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Chief Andy Aghaji has commended the Nigerian Armed Forces for reclaiming some towns earlier taken over by Boko Haram Terrorists in Adamawa state.
Speaking in the wake of the fierce battle between the terrorists and armed forces, Chief Aghaji praised the heroism the Nigerian Military for fighting and recovering the towns earlier taken over by the insurgents.
Chief Aghaji said the efforts of the Heads of State and Governments of the Lake Chad Basin Commission who met in Niamey Niger Republic on Tuesday has started yielding positive results with cross border cooperation amongst the member nations.
According to him, the joint action by member countries of the Commission will help wipe out insurgency in the region.
The Chairman Board of Directors of VON called on Nigerians to unite against activities of terrorists as they did with the fight against the Ebola virus diseases in the Country.
Chief Aghaji congratulated Nigerians on the Country’s 54th Independence anniversary and the peaceful celebration of Eid el-Kabir.
He prayed for a successful return of Nigerian Pilgrims from the Holy Land.
