Some aggrieved persons, claiming to be the victims of the twin deadly bomb attacks that rocked in Nyanya in April this year, including recent Emab Plaza in Wuse Zone II, Abuja, have staged a demonstration over their purported neglect by the government of the day.
Among them were victims of other blasts in nieghbouring Niger state, who converged at the Abuja Unity Fountain, near the Millennium Park, the venue of the sit-out meeting of the Abuja Family group, who championing the #BringBackourGirls campaign, in the nation’s capital.
The demonstrators, amid other things accused the federal Government of gross negligence and abandonment in several hospitals.
Specifically, they bemoaned the government’s failure to offset the accrued bills in the course of their treatments, thereby compounding their plight.
Recall that there had been repeated assurances to take care of them, made by top government officials and their representatives, during visits to the medical centres where the victims are being kept had promised.
