President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a fresh list of ambassadorial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.
The list, which contains three names, was announced by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Wednesday.
Those nominated include Kayode Are from Ogun State, Aminu Dalhatu from Jigawa, and Ayodele Oke.
After reading the president’s letter, Akpabio noted that more names are expected. “The list contains three names for now; I am sure others will follow,” he said.
The nominees will face Senate screening in the coming days as the confirmation process begins.
