Breaking: Group Hails Governor Uba Sani’s ‘Compassion Meets Speed’ Initiative

Date:

The Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (USLEPSA) has rejoiced with the people of Kaduna State over what it described as a “revolutionary milestone in healthcare delivery” following Governor Uba Sani’s launch of the Kaduna State Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (KADSEMSAS).

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Habeeb Bello Chikaji, the group said the initiative marks “the point where compassion meets speed,” noting that the governor’s recent unscheduled visits to hospitals demonstrate his personal commitment to a responsive and humane healthcare system.

According to USLEPSA, the emergency medical services scheme represents “a new form of health policing” — one that ensures timely response to emergencies, protects lives, and enforces accountability across the state’s healthcare facilities.

“Governor Uba Sani has effectively brought humanity back into healthcare. His 24-hour emergency ambulance system and free initial emergency care reflect the heart of a leader who values every citizen’s life,” the statement read.

The Assembly commended the governor for extending the services to all 23 local government areas, including rural communities long deprived of swift medical attention.

It described the launch as one of the governor’s boldest interventions yet — combining compassion, innovation, and inclusion.

“By ensuring trained paramedics, functional dispatch centres, and immediate care for accident and maternity emergencies, Governor Uba Sani has broken new ground in health responsiveness,” USLEPSA added.

The group also urged residents to take ownership of the system by promptly reporting emergencies and cooperating with the new dispatch centres.

It concluded that under Governor Uba Sani, “Kaduna is no longer waiting for help — help is already on the way.”
