The Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (ULEPSA) has commended Governor Uba Sani for his compassionate intervention in the case of Malam Mohammed Bature Jibrin, a retired Director in the State Ministry of Works, Housing, and Transport.

This was contained in a press release signed by the group’s chairman, Comrade Habeeb Bello, on Thursday.

“Governor Uba Sani’s decision to host Malam Bature at Government House, order the full payment of his entitlements, and initiate an investigation into others suffering similar injustices reflects his deep commitment to social justice and fairness”, the group explained.

Further linking the governor’s action to helping persons in difficulty, the group added in the statement: “His Excellency has once again demonstrated that governance is about empathy, fairness, and protecting the rights of citizens”.

It went on to state that the governor’s “swift action on this matter reassures civil servants and retirees that their sacrifices will not be forgotten.”

The Assembly urged the governor to “sustain this progressive approach to workers’ welfare,” ensuring that no citizen is left behind.

The statement also hailed the governor’s Special Assistant on NGOs, Sakina Garba, for locating Bature and Ibrahim Sheikh Adam of the Uba Sani Social Media Team, for being the sources of relief for the man.
