
Organised labour, comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has relaxed their industrial action to allow for negotiation on the minimum wage.
A joint NEC meeting of TUC and NLC approved the decision to relax the industrial action for one week with immediate effect.
A meeting between Labour and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) on Monday night agreed that negotiations should resumed for the next one week, after President Bola Tinubu agreed to pay over the N60,00 minimum wage
