Kaduna State has taken a giant leap into the future of clean energy, as Governor Uba Sani officially unveiled Nigeria’s first Liquefied Compressed Natural Gas (L-CNG) station in Kakau, Kaduna State.

Governor Uba Sani, who was accompanied by top government officials and industry leaders, expressed his administration’s commitment to fostering a secure and conducive business environment in Kaduna State.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of Nigeria’s energy revolution,” Governor Uba Sani said. “Our partnership with Greenville LNG is a testament to our dedication to attracting investments that drive economic growth and improve the lives of our citizens.”
The L-CNG station, which is the first of its kind in Africa, is expected to provide a cleaner and more efficient alternative to traditional fuels, reducing carbon emissions and promoting a healthier environment.
Greenville LNG’s Director of Inter-Governmental Relations, Alhaji Zubairu Ibrahim Bayi, praised Governor Uba Sani’s administration for its support, saying, “We are grateful for the seamless facilitation of this project. Kaduna State has demonstrated its readiness for business, and we look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.”
