The Uba Sani Legacy Projects Solidarity Assembly (ULEPSA) has commended Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, for positioning the state as a trailblazing hub for conferences, cultural events, and economic collaborations in Northwest Nigeria.
In a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Habib Bello, the group revealed that Kaduna has hosted at least ten major events in the last three months. These include the Kaduna Investment and Economic Summit (KADInvest), the Kaduna International Trade Fair, the Festival of Arts and Culture, and federal gatherings such as the AfCFTA Implementation Dialogue and the Security Agencies Roundtable.
ULEPSA attributed Kaduna’s success to Governor Sani’s focus on security, infrastructure development, and fostering strategic partnerships.
The group emphasized that events like the Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Conference and the Government House Staff Training demonstrate the administration’s commitment to progress and inclusion.
The group also noted the involvement of international partners like the World Bank, which organized the Leadership Development Training in Kaduna. They described the state’s hosting of such programs as a reflection of its growing role in regional and national development.
According to ULEPSA, the federal government’s choice of Kaduna as the venue for high-profile events underscores its strategic importance. These activities, they said, have spurred economic growth and reinforced the state’s status as a center for innovation and collaboration.
The group called on stakeholders to support Governor Sani’s leadership, describing him as a visionary committed to reshaping Kaduna into a beacon of progress and innovation in Northern Nigeria.
