The former Jigawa state governor Alhaji Sule Lamido said, president Muhammad Buhari deceived Nigerians with removal of petroleum subsidy.
Lamido dropped the hint when thousands of youths rejoiced with him to celebrate his birthday at 73 held at his home town in Bamaina, Jigawa state.
He said, president Buhari before his election as president promised Nigerians to remove fuel subsidy while up to now government is paying the subsidy.
Alhaji Sule Lamido challenged youth to be masters of their own destiny. “ It is time for you to act in a right direction, uphold sincerity, honesty, dedication, love to the nation and humanity to form a future for your family.”
According to him the major challenge in the country is how to restore love, unity and confidence between Nigerians as the country is currently polarized and divided along ethnic, religious and geographic sentiment by self centered politicians, describing the development as very unfortunate.
Meanwhile, thousands of youths from across the nation stormed Bamaina town of Jigawa state begging former state Governor Alhaji Sule Lamido to join the 2023 presidential race to liberate the country.
