The Chief of Army Staff, Leutenant General Tukur Buratai, yesterday brought smile to the face of a veteran soldier, Warrant Officer Paul Ojo (retd),who was forcefully evicted from his Kabala Costain home by officials of Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA).
The COAS greatfully donated new three-bedroom bungalow to the military veteran to accommodate the soldier and his family.
The property located at Angwan Maigero, Chikun Local Government Area of the State
was handed over to WO2 Paul Ojo by General Officer Commanding (GOC) 1 Division , Major General Usman Mohammed, on behalf of the Army Boss.
General Usman Mohammed said the welfare of the military personnel, serving or retired, remains a top priority to the military leadership.
The veteran and nine others in August had been “forcefully evicted” from the Old Army Barracks, Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA) Quarters, Kabala Costain, Kaduna North local government area of the State.
